They can either choose to join a faction, create an alliance between one faction to another, or even put two factions together.
During the campaign, the player would learn more about the various factions and interact with them. The factions in Vampire the Masquerade 2 are a little bit different from the previous game, with multiple clans vying for the control of the city. Be careful when using your vampire powers, as breaking the rules would summon a kill squad out for your blood. It is a rule of secrecy that keep the Vampires hidden from humanity. One of the unique features in this game is the Masquerade system, one of the signature parts of the World of Darkness Settings.
